About Us

a short (& long) tale of two

The short

We’re a married couple who edits and film human stories and live in Cape Town. More often, we’re spotted as the people who rocks up at weddings in black and carry stuff up and down.

We work from the same home office, joined by a moody ginger cat, Miau-Miau, who regularly demands ear scratches and undivided attention.

The long(er)

Anneke grew up in the purple, Jacaranda city of Pretoria, before relocating to Cape Town. Her love for photography and film was sparked early on, from seeing her mom filming and editing their holiday videos.

Wiehan grew up in the coastal town PE, loved sports and have always been a craftsman of sorts. He went on to study IT and secured an internship that brought him to Cape Town.

We’ve been married for 2 years and have been living in Cape Town ever since. We both enjoy bad(or ‘flou’) jokes, digging our teeth into a juicy doccie and any outdoors activity. We are children of God and deeply care about serving His purposes. We love people and community.

Then we’ll guide you to what you most want and need. Using our experience, we’ll provide insight and provide recommendations and support however you need.

1. An original documentary style film

Our films are artworks to have and to hold and to share with everyone you love. No one of our films look the same, as we create custom films that will tell your story best. We want to capture your heart and share your story in a way that celebrates your love and connection with each other

Lets face it. There can happen a lot leading up to you big day. Sometimes things can be overwhelming. We create a safe space for you to take a breather when you need it. A space to simply be with each other. To cry tears of joy. Or share in each others abundant happiness. We are there for you all the way

Whether you need a DJ, a florist or a wedding coordinator to help you with planning your wedding day, we have great relationships with incredible vendors in the industry to help plan and make your day a reality

4. Epic adventure

Whether its off-roading to find the best mountain view, or swirling on the beach, we are here for every adventure alongside you. We love wandering off to an off-the-beaten path to capture you and your partner in unexpected and unscripted ways.
